Chinese researchers claim to have located Noah's Ark in Turkey

EFE Ankara .- A research group composed of Turkish and Chinese experts say they have located the biblical Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat, according to Turkish press reported today.
One member of the group, the Chinese documentary, Ving Cing Yang said they have located an old wooden structure at an altitude of 4.000 meters in the Ararat, located in eastern Turkey near the Iranian border .
explorer, member of an organization organization dedicated to finding the mythical vessel in which Noah and his family escaped the Great Flood, said the remains found have an antique age of 4,800 years.
"It is not hundred percent sure it's the Ark, but I think he is at 99.9 percent," said Ving told the Turkish Anadolu agency.
"The structure of the boat has lots of pockets and that can be said that the spaces in which animals were located," he said.
also said he had already contacted the Turkish government to seek to protect the area and can start adding excavations which prompted Unesco to include this region in its list of world heritage.
is not the first time that the ark seekers groups say they have located the boat in the Ararat, the highest mountain in Turkey, where the Bible tells you stranded when the waters receded Noah's Flood.
