On many occasions we have seen news reports or in the press about people who have been hit by lightning and miraculously survived. It is said that on average 70 people die annually from lightning impacts on receiving but how some survive and others do not?
Perhaps some might think that this is due to conditions such as temperature of lightning as such, or at room temperature, etc. Usually this ranges from 53.000 degrees Fahrenheit (29.400 degrees Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit and 55.000 (30.500 degrees Celsius). But to the surprise of those who so believe in temperature as a factor to consider, this is not the main cause.
When lightning is formed as a result of the ionization of gases that make up the cloud and on its way to land is a human body, with one person, it is normal to seek the shortest route to "make earth. " So this large amount of energy (usually 30.000 amps), may make impact and look down through the shoulder, through the side of the body, and finally through the leg of the person hit. The important thing is that while lightning does not make contact with either the heart or through the spine, it is likely that the person survives the impact.
