What would you think if I told you that fish do not get wet? Would say almost certainly not true, but it would be wrong. Did you know that although the fish live in water, are covered by a kind of single layer that keeps them dry? Are as dry as if they had put a raincoat on a rainy day.
are even drier than waterfowl, and that they should fix their feathers clean and constantly that were not flooded. Are drier than humans when it swims. It seems hard to believe this, since the fish spend your life in the water, but their skin and scales are coated with a layer of mucus that forms a true insulating film.
This film has another function which is to lubricate the body so the fish can move easily in water. Without this lubricant should reduce considerably the speed of moving water. Because of this, the fish can swim faster miles per hour.
The apostle Peter in 1 Peter 5:5 tells us that every Christian should have a special blanket layer or a better life. You know what that robe? Indeed, humility. Having this layer differentiates us from other people because they do not get angry if you tell us something that we dislike or do not bother us that someone takes the applause for something we did well.
"... clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
(1 Peter 5:5)
